Privacy Policy

Last updated August 26, 2026

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Home Command Center ("HCC," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our website, web app, mobile app, and related household-assistant features. HCC is designed to help families organize tasks, schedules, routines, shopping, household information, and optional connected services.

2. Information we may collect

Information you provide

  • Account and contact information, such as your name and email address.
  • Household and family profile information, such as member names, roles, profile images, preferences, and dashboard assignments.
  • Content you choose to add, including tasks, calendar events, grocery items, routines, pet-care information, medication reminders, notes, uploaded images or documents, and assistant preferences.
  • Information you provide when contacting us for support, feedback, or partnership inquiries.

Optional connected information

If you choose to connect an outside service or enable a device feature, HCC may process information needed to provide that feature. Examples include Microsoft account data you authorize, calendar information, forwarded household email, Alexa-related actions, location information, and push-notification subscription information. We only intend to access connected information for features you choose to enable.

Technical information

We and our service providers may receive ordinary technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as device or browser type, IP address, timestamps, request logs, crash or diagnostic information, and session information.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve HCC, authenticate accounts, organize household data, deliver requested reminders and notifications, operate optional integrations, personalize household features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and communicate with you about your account or requests.

4. Family and child profiles

HCC is designed for family use and may allow a Parent/Admin to create profiles or dashboards for household members, including children. Children should use HCC only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian. HCC does not intend to invite children to create independent household accounts without parent or guardian involvement. Parents/Admins are responsible for deciding what information about household members is added to HCC and who in the household can access it.

5. Location, medication, and safety-related information

Some optional HCC features can involve precise location, medication reminders, pet-walk conditions, or other safety-related household information. These features are organizational aids only. They are not emergency, medical, pharmacy, veterinary, or professional safety services. Location and notification delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of device settings, connectivity, third-party systems, or other factors.

6. Email Intelligence and connected communications

If you enable Email Intelligence, HCC may process messages or message excerpts that you explicitly connect or forward for the purpose of identifying household-related dates, tasks, reminders, or other useful information. Review controls are designed to let a Parent/Admin decide what should become shared household information. Account-security messages, verification codes, and password-reset messages should not be used by HCC to take security actions on your behalf.

7. Shopping features, retailers, and affiliate links

HCC may provide links to retailers or use approved affiliate links in shopping features. If an affiliate relationship is active, HCC may earn a commission when a user makes a qualifying purchase after following one of those links, at no additional cost to the user. Retailers and affiliate networks may receive standard referral, click, device, or transaction information under their own privacy practices. HCC does not represent a retailer partnership unless that relationship has actually been approved.

8. How information may be shared

We may share information only as reasonably needed to operate HCC, including with hosting, database, authentication, notification, integration, analytics, security, and other service providers; with outside services you choose to connect; when you direct HCC to share or open information with a third party; or when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse. HCC does not sell personal information for money.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention can vary by feature and type of data. You may contact us to request deletion or correction of account information. Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or system integrity.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect HCC information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their passwords, devices, connected accounts, and household access credentials.

11. Your choices

You can choose which household information to enter, which optional integrations or device permissions to enable, and which notifications to allow. You can disconnect supported integrations through HCC or through the relevant provider. Device permissions such as location and notifications can also be controlled through your device settings.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as HCC evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

13. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to jeff@homecommandcenter.app.

HCC is still evolving. This policy is intended to describe the service as it operates today and should be reviewed as new integrations, payment features, advertising, or data practices are introduced.
